Fun fact! Selenite and Satin spar are two slightly different but similar compound minerals apart of the same Gypsum family along with Gypsum desert roses. Selenite is clear and almost transparent. Satin spar selenite is more fibrous and milky. (Think of it like they have the same mom but different dad). Both selenite but one with a partly different genetic makeup, that is why almost everybody just calls these towers (and wands) selenite towers. They are one in the same.
